Do you have long hair gentlemen (and ladies)

Here may be why: THE TRUTH ABOUT HAIR AND WHY INDIANS WOULD KEEP THEIR HAIR LONG
Now I have very long hair and I thought I was a bit eccentric because I can totally relate to this article. Always when my hair is longer I can 'sense' things much better. And I can tell the difference from when I pull it up in a bun like mess or put it in a braid.
And I wonder if there is any connection of why I like long hair on men... SOME men ... not all... some just look tacky. No offense intended there fella's. Maybe it helps I've some Native American in me? lol! Anyways a VERY interesting article.

  1. First of all we are not Indians--they come from India
We are Native North Americans or First Nations in Canada

We wear out hair long out of respect for Mother Earth or because in some of the Nations you do not cut you hair for 2 years out of respect for the family member who has passed away

  2. As a "Native American" myself, I have no problem with being called an "Indian". However, I did not write the article I linked to. Some nations would cut their hair in mourning, not let it grow. I am aware that different Nations did things differently. However, the article simply brought up a point I found interesting due to my heritage. I did not post it to bring dispute or any other negativeness. Have a great day.
